Red Velvet Cake:
Ingradients:
- 1/2 cups generally useful flour
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon preparing pop
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
- 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk, at room temperature
- 2 huge eggs, at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons red food shading
- 1 teaspoon white refined vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla concentrate
- Cream Cheese Frosting, formula follows
- Squashed walnuts, for embellish
- 1 pound cream cheddar, mellowed
- 4 cups of filtered sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted spread (1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla concentrate
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Lightly oil and flour three 9 by 1 1/2-
inch round cake pans.
